Philly Steak Pizza and Football!!

Are you ready for some football…..and a Philly Steak Pizza?

Mini Me and I decided to spend some quality time together this wonderful Sunday and make a Philly Steak Pizza and our awesome Margarita Pizza to eat while we watched some football and I do case work.

Below you see the layout of the ingredients needed for this mouth-watering delight.  Fresh tomatoes, basil, thyme, garlic, rosemary, cilantro, mozzarella cheese, Asiago cheese, 5 assorted Italian cheeses, fresh-cut steaks, a can of diced tomatoes, steak sauce, and salt and pepper.  Yes, not fresh made but canned pizza dough (just not enough hours in the day)!

Placing the fresh ingredients in the food processor, puree till combined then cook on the stove with about two tablespoons of olive oil, splashes of steak sauce and a dash of crush red pepper.  After  cooking to a thick consistency, take your homemade pizza sauce and distribute evenly over your dough.

Spread evenly over the entire dough as this sauce with a touch of steak sauce will be an exciting new treat to your palette.

Now sprinkle on your cheeses to provide a solid coat of cheese.

I used mozzarella cheese, gorgonzola and Asiago cheese to make a nice layer of goodness.

As you are working your sauces and starting your pizza foundation, your steaks should be grilling to a tender and delicious finish.

Slice your steaks sideways into short strips.  Now cut these strips in half and then into small cubes making them edible and fulfilling during each delicious bite of your pizza.

Grill your pizza for about 15 minutes depending on your grill.  Keep a close eye to ensure you don’t burn your crust.
