I had an extremely early morning, followed by a terrible time trying to connect my work laptop with the hotel internet connection. Still working on this by the way. I did however meet two fabulous Southwest Air flight attendants and had a really peaceful flight to my (cannot disclose) destination. The view? Completely amazing and the weather even better!
Upon arrival, I hitched a ride to my destination through a conveniently provided shuttle service and met “JAY” aka my new best friend. He is married, approx. 55 years old, retired, and drives the shuttle for something to do. LOVE THAT! He basically stated he would take me around the installation if needed, when needed. Great liaison relationship built here buddy! So, of course I coined him! It made his day beyond belief! He said I was a pleasure and one of the nicest people he has ever drove. AWWWW! #happy
Well, while waiting for my room I decided to post something for today. I thought what a perfect time to share a little love this Friday. This one is for all those lovers in a long distance relationship. This is something I like to do to keep the romance alive until the next visit.
Whenever I am in the same location with my bestie/love I can’t help but give him something to remember me by. (Get your minds out of the gutter!) I wait for the time he is not around and write the fastest love notes ever! I say that because I always want to make sure he doesn’t catch me placing the notes around the house, in his luggage, or even pushed inside his work shoes. The trick is put as many as possible in as many places as possible. This makes it fun! Especially when you are on the receiving end. You could only imagine…you get back home and slip on our favorite pair of jeans to find one of these in your pocket:
Oh… he calls me “little birdie” LOL!
Or, one like this, which I placed in his running shoes on the last visit:
I know…disgusting right? Well, I am a very old #romantic soul. I always try to treat everyone the way I want to be treated. Trust me, he has left me 100’s of yellow sticky’s all over my home before. I die every time I come across one. Yes, I still do. LMAO!
Happy treasure hunting! Have a wonderful weekend! Time for me to earn my paycheck!
