3 Products to Tackle Pimples

I would be lying if I said I didn’t get a blemish every now and then.  A flawless face requires flawless skin.  I mean common, even the “Barbie’s” of the world aren’t really perfect!

There are a few things you will have to do in order to help prevent blemishes of course.  Drink plenty of water to help flush toxins from your body and keep your skin hydrated, never sleep with make on, cleanse, tone, and moisturize your face, and once a week try a facial mask that works best with your skin type.

On occasion, if I have even and slight possibility of blemish starting, I will apply a small amount of Johnson & Johnson‘s Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment.  This product is a miracle in a tube!ink inside out-anna castillo-Fashion and Beauty-3 Products to Tackle Pimples -November 2014

When worst comes to worst, I can always conceal the sucker with INK…Cosmetics Mint Corrector and Special Coverage Concealer.

How to apply the products:

1.  Use a fine point concealer brush

and apply the Mint Corrector around the reddish/pink areas of the blemish.  Be sure to blend this product well!  We are in an HD high-technology era and if flash lighting hits this, it will glow!  Less is more!

2.  Clean your brush and apply the concealer over the blemish.  I like to stipple (patting) it on with the brush then dab a clean finger over the top to blend it.  There is something about the warmth of your finger that helps keep concealers smooth and easy to blend with your own skin tone.

3.  I end with foundation over the top to keep everything consistent.  Some Makeup Artists (#mua) will apply foundation first and then conceal.  I find it better in reverse because you want your entire face to be evenly flawless.  Then I finish with an oil control powder to keep the shine away and products in place.

We love the emails and comments!  Keep your #INKbeauty questions coming! Thank you for the support!
