The Hopeful Gypsy

Don’t really know how to start this post except to say, “What the hell just happened?” It all started in early October when I put my house on the market. A few weeks later I found got the call from my new tenants! Now, they move in around the 1st of December. Where am I going you ask? I still don’t know! I do know the end result is to be in Texas with my little birdie as soon as possible.

My hope is to will the universe into getting me there, sooner rather than later. It started with the house, and now, the movers just left. Yep, the movers have taken my stuff!! I kept a few essentials, enough to fill my truck and car and live like a gypsy for the time being. I spent the better part of Friday night, all day Saturday and Sunday getting the house ready for them. I put blue painters tape on the cabinets and furniture I didn’t want them to take, leaving me with those few essentials. It worked out pretty good; except, apparently I forgot to tape my cleaning brush by the sink, my drying mat, and my napkins! Oh well, moving on! At least I have my Keurig and teas!

Well, with everything gone but the mattresses, I had to make a makeshift nightstand and dresser right next to my giant tupperware of clothes.  Keep in mind, the closet is still full with my work clothes…thank goodness!

So now, I keep the faith. The good Lord has a plan, graces me and challenges me each day, and I have what I need. My beautiful daughter is healthy, has what she needs, and now she is finding work. My baby birdie seems happy and is healthy, and her Mini-me is doing great.  Time to relax!

Next stop…Texas!

Wish me luck,

Jason
